Reservation and Check-In/Check Out Policies​

​

  • The reservations are for two guests. An additional $25.00 charge/additional guest/room /night. Maximum guests per cabin is 4.

  • A $50.00 deposit required with a guaranteed reservation that will be applied to your stay. If cancellation occurs without 48 hour notice prior to check in, deposit is non-refundable.

  • Payment is accepted by credit card or cash.

  • Check in: 2 PM

  • Check out: 11AM

  • We are open year round. Rates are subject to change seasonally.

  • We cater to all age groups and expect that guests will respect the property and privacy of everyone.

  • There are no accommodations for pets.

Guest Rules

  • Respect other guests and observe quiet activity after 11 PM and before 9AM.

  • No smoking anywhere on the property except for the campfire area. Please be considerate and clean up your butts.

  • Firewood is stacked by the campfire and picnic table area. Please observe fire safety practices and
    supervise your children.

  • Be aware that wild animals and reptiles live in this mountain and river habitat. Do not leave food,
    coolers, or drinks outside overnight.

  • When swimming or boating in the river, we suggest wearing water shoes or sneakers due to rocks, sharp objects, and other potentially harmful submerged objects.

  • Nature is sometime unpredictable. Enjoy at your own risk.

  • Milepost 142 is not responsible for any lost or damaged items, accidents or injuries.

  • The restrooms are located in your individual rooms, there are no public restroom facilities.

  • Please utilize the hose in back of the building for muddy or greasy items. A surcharge may be levied for heavy soil, grease, or mud tracked into rooms.

  • No animals, dead or alive, allowed in cabins or on porches. If you are hunting or fishing please store your catch/trophy in your vehicle or cooler. Please plan ahead and speak with us or your local guide before setting out for the day.

  • Do not trespass on others property. We appreciate and respect our neighbors and ask that you please do the same. To our railfan and train enthusiasts please do not trespass onto railroad property.

  • Each cabin has a guest book and we welcome comments on your stay at Milepost 142 and how we can make improvements.
